D&S Kitchen and D&S Store have announced they will be open until 8 p.m., starting July 1, 2024
Farmers Market every Tuesday, from 4-6 p.m. located on the west side of the Melcher-Dallas square (park) Questions may be addressed to Sara at 641-891-3369 or Mike at 641-891-2954
MDFYI will be handing out free food for children between the ages of 0-18, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, between the hours of noon and 12:30 p.m. at the library.
The first Wednesday of every month is Pizza Lunch at the Senior Center. Cost is $4, and sides are available to share. 11:30 a.m. Please call the day before or by 10 a.m. the day of, so that they know how much pizza they need to order. 641-891-7009 0r 641-947-4911 You may bring a dish to share but it is not required. Everyone is welcome to this monthly event.
Food Trucks every Friday evening, from 5-8 p.m. located on the square.

Melcher Dallas Notification/Alert System Launched

For several months now, City Staff have been working to set up a Notification/Alert System to allow better communication with our residents. This system is hosted by Everbridge. Now, critical alerts about our water supply, community events, or other important information can be sent out quickly so everyone can stay informed. We have set up a web page “Stay Informed with Alerts” with links that will allow you to sign up and learn more information about the Notifications and Alerts. There will be more information sent out with your water bill this month. Please spread the word so your neighbors can stay informed as well.

Library Card

At the Melcher-Dallas Public Library, library cards are FREE! With your library card you will be able to check out books and movies! We also have an online library, Bridges Overdrive, which is available for your use once you have a library card. Reading is great for relaxation, learning, or helping your child hone their reading skills!

Start exploring your library today...with a FREE library card! To access Bridges Overdrive you will need your patron number found on your library card. But first select Melcher-Dallas Public Library from the library drop down box. Next, your patron number is your password...but...enter P then 0 plus your patron number.
